SHOP/REVIEW The scent with which to re-ignite your love

Surprise. Laughter. Playfulness. Seduction. These are the ingredients of longlasting love. Kenzo Parfums recreate these wonderful elements of love into a green fruity floral fragrance blended with fruity and woody-musk notes and bottle it up in a gorgeous flacon. This is the new love story from Kenzo Parfums—Jeu d’Amour EDT (translated as ‘game of love’ in French).

How does it smell?
This fresh, luminous and delicate sensual perfume brightens up any day. A lighter version of 2014’s Jeu d’Amour Eau de Parfum, it is transformed into a green fruity floral fragrance with a luminous start. It captivates with the first whiff of the sparkling top notes of pear, lemon blossom and green tea. It then warms up to the sensual carnal and solar tuberose and luminous accents of fressia flowers (notes that are in the original Kenzo Jeu d’Amour Eau de Parfum), before settling into a soft and sensual trail of white musk and cedarwood leaves.

The Flaçon (bottle)
As with the previous scents launched by Kenzo Parfums, the packaging of this new launch is designed by internationally acclaimed industrial designer Karim Rashid. What does the bottle look like to you? To me, it resembles a woman in an elegant ball gown. In the words of Rashid, this bottle is a new declaration of sensuality. The straight lined, modern and clean design represents the more assertive, confident and modern Jeu d’Amour woman who is not afraid to step up to her desirability.

Retaining the same bottle silhouette as JEU D’AMOUR EDP, the new JEU D’AMOUR EDT is encased in a glistening glass bottle with a pinkish nude hue tint at the base. This gives the glass bottle a soft visual effect that exudes sensual femininity.

The Outer Packaging
Guess whose lips are those on the box? Have you given up? Those puckers and sensual neck on the box are considered as the ultimate weapon of seduction belonging to French actress Louise Bourgoin, the muse for Jeu d’Amour.
